The report will be reviewed using a screening framework (and in some cases a risk checklist). The most appropriate manager will then be identified to respond to the report.
This process has been designed is to correctly understand the information that has been presented and ensure there is the appropriate level of response, that is timely, and is overseen by the right person within the organisation.
This will enable a consistent approach to all reports and help identify where there is a high risk of harm and what level of support maybe required for the reporter, anyone involved in the report and the person that has been identified to respond to the report.
The report will be sent to the most appropriate manager where they will be notified a report has been assigned to them. They will then be will be responsible for reviewing and responding to the report - no identifiable information is provided within this email alert.
The manager then logs into their Culture Shift dashboard to view their assigned report using their personal login details. Please note, they will only be able to review reports that have been assigned to them. They will not be able to view all reports allowing confidentiality to be maintained.
Contact will then be made with the person who submitted the report to arrange a discussion to review the issue raised in more detail and agree what next steps should be taken.
The document below provides more details on the process that managers will follow.
